For heavy outdoor exposure, I go firmer with the foundation, more pins than might seem necessary, and I lean on stronger hold products specifically formulated to resist humidity rather than standard hairspray that was never built for South Florida air.
Timing matters too. For bridal clients especially, I always recommend a trial run before the actual day, partly to nail down the exact look, but honestly just as much to see how the style holds up over several hours in real conditions rather than guessing. A trial gives both of us a chance to adjust the approach before it actually matters.
